Abraham has successfully defended his IBF middleweight title eight times since winning it nearly three years ago.

At 38-years-old Marquez is almost exactly a decade older than Abraham and has notched up an impressive 269 rounds fought (compared to Abraham’s 161).
He also has 29 KOs and will be no push-over.
In June Marquez earned his title shot against Abraham by defeating previously unbeaten No. 1 contender Giovanni Lorenzo (26-0) in their IBF title eliminator.
